Taco Frybread

  • 2 c plus 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp powdered milk
  • 3/4 c warm milk
  • 1 cup oil

Note: If you don’t have powdered milk, substitute milk for the water and powdered milk.

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and milk powder. Sit in warm water. Mix and knead 5 min. Let dough stand 30 minutes. Divide into 8 pieces. Roll into 8” diameter circle (thin!!). Heat oil and fry quickly on both sides. Pat oil from frybread.
